VIDEO: Naked 2 Sultry Eyeshadow Tutorial

I've had several requests to recreate my makeup from my "Prom Fashion Lookbook 2014" video from the other day, so I decided to put a tutorial together for my gorgeous girls!  If you missed the video, you can watch it here.  My sweet girlfriend, Melissa Ordway, who plays Abby Newman on The Young & The Restless, stopped by and helped me model several different style of formal gowns for this Prom season...  And we had so much fun!

So here's the video of my makeup look!  I used only a Naked 2 palette for the eyeshadows, but honestly any nude, taupe, darker brown and shimmer cream colored shadows will work for this look.  It's the perfect look for a night out!  I actually did this look right before I went out with friends for the evening!

Eyeliner - Maybelline Gel Eyeliner in "Blackest Black"

Blush - Milani Baked Powder Blush in "Luminoso"

  3. Would you consider doing a video on how/where you store your make up? I've been acquiring a lot of new products because of your videos :) and would like to know the best way to store them. Thanks!

  4. Very pretty look! I keep trying to NOT use my Naked 2 palette so I can get some variety in my life, but I seem to reach for it everyday! Will you please do a tutorial on how you care for your makeup brushes and accessories?

  5. Hi, I am a beginner in the make up department….is there any way you could do a simple everyday look and not fast forward through the application? Like a make up application video for beginners that shows how you blend and what techniques you use. Thank you. :)

  8. It's a good look!! I really liked it! For people that have a black eyeshadow and a white skin, as me haha, is there any other kind of make up? I mean, this make up it is only for girls like to be tanned?

    1. Thanks Nathalia! You can absolutely where this since it's a taupe eyeshadow. You can switch the liner to brown to be lighter for your fair skin :)

  9. Hi Angela! :)
I loved this video! I love my Naked 2 palette, and am always looking for a new look to do with it.
I picked up the Smashbox Studio Skin foundation today at Ulta, and was wondering if you have ever used Smashbox products and what your opinion was on them.
    Thanks! :)

    1. Thanks Halle! The only Smashbox product that I've ever really used is the Photo Finish Primer, and I really liked it. I can't recall using any of their other products though. :)

  11. I would love to get one of the Naked palettes, but I'm not sure which one! Do you have a favorite?? I have pretty light skin, dirty-blonde hair and blue eyes. I tend to gravitate towards more browns for a natural look--nothing too shimmery for everyday, but I'll use shimmery for going out. Any suggestions as to which one is the best option for me?

    Thank you!
